Huawei has released the HarmonyOS 6.0.0.159 SP5 update for its AI glasses, introducing new payment features and extended video recording capabilities. Users can now utilize head-motion controls for payments and scan QR codes for parking fees directly through the device.

The update increases the continuous video recording limit to 5 minutes. To utilize the new head-motion payment functionality, the connected smartphone must be running HarmonyOS 7.0 or a later version. Additionally, the update improves the recognition accuracy for head-motion call controls.

Launched in April 2026, the Huawei AI glasses feature a 12-megapixel camera with a 1/2.8-inch sensor and 6P optical lenses. The device supports AI RAW multi-frame fusion algorithms and automatic horizontal tilt correction of up to 20 degrees.

The product is available in several versions, including titanium semi-rimless and classic full-rim optical frames priced at ¥2499, as well as classic full-rim sunglasses priced at ¥2899. It is the first AI glasses model from Huawei to support the HDR Vivid standard.
