Honor has announced the October update schedule for MagicOS 11. The second batch of devices will receive the update on October 9 at 19:00, with registration reopening on October 15. The third batch, including the Robot Phone, Magic Vs3, Magic5 series, 300 series, and X80 Pro Max, will begin internal testing recruitment on October 20.

The update introduces cross-brand file sharing via Honor's 'One-Touch Transfer' feature. This allows users to share files with OPPO, vivo, and Xiaomi smartphones without installing additional applications. This functionality is expected to roll out in mid-October for MagicOS 11 devices, pending software updates from the respective partner brands.

The YOYO assistant gains features for academic scheduling, including automated reminders for classes and exams. It also adds a smart luggage storage and retrieval notification system. The 'Photo Inquiry' tool now includes AI-powered ID photo creation, supporting various background colors, outfits, and formats for printing or digital storage.

The 'Smart Capsule' feature receives significant upgrades. It now supports real-time navigation data for Tencent Maps, AutoNavi (Gaode) public transport, and ride-hailing services like Didi and Meituan. Users can view vehicle arrival times, license plates, and transit details directly in the capsule. Additional support for AutoNavi designated driver services and class reminders is also included.

One-Touch Transfer capabilities are expanded to support more applications. Users can now share driving routes from AutoNavi, outdoor trails from 2bulu, files from Baidu Netdisk, and audio content from Ximalaya directly via the touch-based transfer feature.
