Honor has introduced the X5d s, a budget smartphone featuring a secondary display on the rear panel. This design choice brings a feature previously seen in flagship models, such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 18 Pro series, to the entry-level market segment.
The device is equipped with a 6.78-inch LCD main screen with a resolution of 720 x 1576 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and 600 cd/m² brightness. The secondary rear display measures 2.01 inches with a resolution of 240 x 296 pixels, intended for notifications, media controls, and selfies.
Internally, the smartphone runs on a Unisoc T610 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It features a 6000 mAh battery with 15 W wired charging support. The main camera offers 50 megapixels with an f/1.8 aperture, while the front camera is 5 megapixels.
The handset measures 168.3 x 78.5 x 8.72 mm and weighs 214 g, featuring IP52-rated protection against dust and splashes. A fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button. The Honor X5d s will be sold in South Africa, including a charger and a TPU case in the box.
