HighTek and Astra Group have integrated the LinQ HX AI accelerator for embedded systems with the Astra Linux Embedded operating system. This joint hardware-software solution enables the execution of neural network models directly on edge devices, such as video analytics systems, onboard computers, and robotics.

The companies signed the cooperation agreement during the Digital Solutions IT forum. The product is designed to address the growing demand for edge AI computing, which allows data processing in real time at the source without relying on cloud infrastructure or external communication channels.

The LinQ HX accelerator is optimized for platforms with limited power consumption and physical space. Astra Linux Embedded holds certifications from the FSTEC, the Ministry of Defense, and the FSB of Russia, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for critical information infrastructure.

According to HighTek, the partnership provides developers with a ready-to-use domestic stack, eliminating the need to independently assemble and verify components for edge AI projects. Astra Group noted that the solution aims to accelerate the time-to-market for manufacturers of industrial and embedded equipment.
