The software developer Hi-Kvadrat has released Simple Core, a free administration console designed to accelerate the deployment of business applications. This tool is now the fourth component in the company's Xtools utility suite, which is built for the Xsquare development platform.
Simple Core provides essential administrative features, including user and role management, system configuration, event logging, and reporting. Developers can activate the console during the Xsquare installation process to focus immediately on application-specific logic. For large-scale corporate projects, the company offers an extended version called Full Core.
The Xtools suite also includes Xsquare Mail, which supports Postfix and major email services like Google, Yandex, and Mail.ru, and Xsquare Files, a module for managing file uploads, downloads, and directory structures. These utilities are designed to handle routine development tasks.
Additionally, the A2X Reader utility assists companies migrating from Oracle APEX to Xsquare. It evaluates existing applications and their readiness for transfer to help estimate migration costs. The tool has been tested with Oracle APEX versions 5 and 18.
According to technical director Konstantin Vashchenkov, the company plans to continue expanding the Xtools suite based on customer feedback. The goal is to reduce preparation time for development teams and streamline the migration process from legacy platforms.
