The Department of Commerce of Henan Province, along with the Development and Reform Commission and the Department of Finance, has expanded its local trade-in subsidy program. The updated list now includes 10 categories of smart home and electronic products, focusing on intelligent household appliances.

The eligible product list covers smart cleaning robots, smart dryers, digital cameras, smart water purifiers, and smart dishwashers. It also includes smart stoves, range hoods, smart door locks, microwave-steam-oven combos, and smart toilets. Products must feature 69 codes and SN codes, and those with energy or water efficiency standards must meet level 1 requirements.

The subsidy covers 15 percent of the final sales price, excluding other discounts, with a maximum limit of ¥1 500 per item. Each consumer is restricted to one subsidized item per category within the province. Participants must use the UnionPay app to access the dedicated Henan service platform.

After completing real-name verification, consumers can purchase items at participating retailers to receive an instant discount. The subsidy vouchers are valid for one day, and if a voucher remains unused, it can be claimed again later.
