HeadHunter has completed the implementation of the Arenadata Catalog (ADC) to manage its corporate data governance processes. The project, which took three months to execute, provides a centralized platform for analysts, data engineers, and internal AI services to search, document, and maintain data assets.
The system currently covers an analytical storage landscape of 5.8 PB, along with 40 TB of metadata from source systems. The catalog contains 99,590 tables, 487 databases, 1,203 Kafka topics, and 405 Airflow DAGs. Additionally, it tracks 1,768 dashboards and over 200 KPIs, utilizing more than 100 customizable classifiers.
The platform supports 800 business users across 45 teams, with a daily active user count exceeding 30 employees. According to an internal survey, 72% of respondents use the catalog to search for table and schema descriptions, while 48% rely on it to identify data owners and stewards.
HeadHunter has integrated the catalog with AI workflows by developing an MCP server. This allows AI agents to access metadata, technical descriptions, and scripts stored in the system. Documentation is maintained in a Git repository and subsequently synced with the Arenadata Catalog.
