Hashcats, a proof-of-work NFT project on the Robinhood Chain, is experiencing a significant decline in minting activity as it enters its tenth epoch. The project requires users to solve hash puzzles to mint pixel-cat NFTs, with 30% of mint proceeds and 5% of swap fees used to buy back and burn HASH tokens.
Recent data shows 4,566 mints, falling short of the required pace to reach the 16,376-cat target. To date, 9,109 cats have been minted, representing 55% of the total goal. The entry price for the current epoch has doubled to approximately 0.164 ETH, while HASH trades at roughly 0.0001275 ETH.
The buyback mechanism has previously burned 1.8 million HASH tokens, accounting for 41.3% of the total supply, using 194.6 ETH. Currently, 29 ETH remains in the buyback queue. Additionally, 1,698 NFTs have been burned, further contributing to the scarcity of the assets.
Trading for HASH commenced on September 11, 2026, following the minting of the 1,016th cat. Initial swap fees were set at 50% and decreased to 2.5% within 10 minutes. The project continues to provide real-time tracking of hashrate and minting progress for participants.
