Grayscale has launched a series of model portfolios designed for financial advisors to simplify digital asset allocation. The Digital Assets Next Gen portfolio, which excludes Bitcoin, consists of seven funds. As of August 31, the allocation was led by Ether at 42.34%, followed by XRP at 26.11% and Solana at 21.09%.

The remaining portion of the portfolio includes Hyperliquid at 5.76%, along with Chainlink, Avalanche, and Sui. Grayscale applies a 40% cap to individual assets and performs rebalancing every three months. Since the model's inception on July 27, Ether has exceeded the established cap.

Despite the model showing a 30.69% net gain since its launch, six of the seven underlying funds are currently trading below their initial prices. The Grayscale XRP Trust ETF is down 38.51% from its launch price, following reports of $180 million in realized losses during the first half of the year.

Grayscale does not charge separate fees for these model portfolios, while the average expense ratio for the underlying funds is 0.23%. Laurie Katz, Global Head of Distribution at Grayscale, stated that the initiative aims to provide advisors with a convenient way to integrate digital assets into client accounts.
