The startup Granite has successfully closed a funding round of €4 million. The investment was led by Bifrost Studios, with participation from several private investors. The company intends to use the capital to accelerate the commercialization of its proprietary technology and integrate its software and hardware components for enterprise clients.

Granite specializes in developing agentic cloud infrastructure, which is built specifically to support AI agents rather than repurposing existing systems. The platform integrates compute, storage, and networking resources with the company's own AI orchestration and operating software. This architecture includes a dedicated management layer that provides AI agents with necessary tools, permissions, and memory.

The company delivers its infrastructure via modular datacenters. These units are containerized and can be deployed in any location with access to power. Clients have the option to access the infrastructure through cloud services or deploy dedicated systems that remain under their direct control. CEO Peter Damm stated that the goal is to provide organizations with autonomy over their AI workloads and technology stacks.
