Starting October 21, 2026, Google is launching an in-account certification process for advertisers in the United Arab Emirates. Licensed firms offering crypto, forex, and CFD services can apply directly through their Google Ads accounts to run promotional campaigns.
To qualify, companies must hold a license from an approved local regulator. Recognized bodies include the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, the Dubai Financial Services Authority, and the Securities and Commodities Authority.
Approved advertisements will be marked with an Eligible (Limited) status. Google maintains strict policies, continuing to prohibit ads for initial coin offerings, decentralized finance trading protocols, and crypto loans.
Non-compliance with these rules may lead to warnings or account suspension. This update follows a policy adjustment from February 2025 and aligns with Google’s strategy of tying ad eligibility to local licensing regimes.
