Google has expanded its AI-driven fraud detection feature for Pixel smartphones. Originally introduced in March 2025 within the Google Messages app, the tool now scans conversations across all messaging platforms when using the Gboard keyboard. This functionality is available on Pixel 6 and newer devices in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Japan, and Singapore.

The update also enhances the VIP notifications feature, which debuted in November 2025. Users can now manage VIP contacts via a home screen widget, allowing for one-touch calls and messages, as well as quick switching between contacts through a bottom menu. These improvements are compatible with Pixel 6 and subsequent models.

Personalization options have been updated with new Harry Potter-themed content, including wallpapers, icons, and sound effects. Additionally, Pixel Watch 3 and newer models now support a pinch gesture to open the notification panel, while Pixel Watch 4 and later versions feature improved raise-to-talk functionality for interacting with the AI assistant.
