Google has introduced an offline mode for the Live Translate feature within the Google Translate application. This update allows users to perform real-time translation without an active internet connection, expanding the utility of the service in areas with limited connectivity.

The offline functionality currently supports a specific list of languages, including English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, Japanese, Indonesian, and Hindi. Users must pair English with one of these languages to utilize the feature, as direct translation between two non-English languages is not yet supported.

The offline translation capability is restricted to specific hardware. According to Google's support documentation, the feature is exclusively available on devices within the Pixel 9, Pixel 10, and Pixel 11 series.
