Google is updating the Google Photos application, as revealed in the code of version 7.93.0. The company is enhancing the existing QR code sharing feature, which previously allowed users to share albums but required screenshots to save the codes locally.

The new interface will introduce dedicated Copy and Download buttons beneath the QR code. The Copy function enables users to transfer the code to other applications, while the Download button allows for saving the image directly to the device storage.

Additionally, Google is redesigning the Collections tab within the app. This update aims to improve content categorization, allowing users to pin important items and manually rearrange the order of their collections to better suit their organization needs.

The company has not yet announced a specific release date for these features. These upcoming changes are expected to streamline how users share media and manage their photo libraries within the Google Photos ecosystem.
