Google is reportedly developing an Ultra mode for its AI Studio Build tool. According to reports, the feature is currently in the development phase and aims to enhance application generation capabilities by providing access to more advanced tools and skills.
AI Studio Build currently utilizes the Antigravity coding agent to generate full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and Firebase. The platform allows users to refine projects through iterative prompts and sync results with GitHub or deploy them via Google Cloud Run.
While Google has not officially announced the Ultra mode or provided a release timeline, the branding suggests a potential integration with the existing Google AI Ultra subscription tier. That service currently costs between $99.99 and $249.99 per month.
The company currently maintains several tiers for AI access, including a free option and the AI Pro subscription priced at $19.99 per month. The introduction of an Ultra mode could provide exclusive capabilities to justify the higher subscription costs.
