Google is developing a new feature for its Gemini platform called Superprojects, internally known as the Robin Superproject. The tool aims to replace Gemini Notebook projects by creating a unified hub for chats, emails, calendar events, and notes.

Analysis of the application code in September 2026 revealed that these workspaces will be organized by categories, with 19 distinct icons identified. The system is designed to integrate with Google Drive through a feature called Drive Projects, allowing users to bundle files for AI analysis.

The initiative builds upon Gemini Notebooks, which launched in April 2026. These notebooks currently feature bidirectional synchronization with the research tool NotebookLM, enabling access to features like Audio Overviews.

Google is implementing tiered source limits to differentiate its offerings. Free plan users are restricted to 50 sources, while Ultra plan users can utilize up to 600 sources. The company has not announced a specific release date for the full branding.
