Google has integrated premium Google Colab features into its Google AI subscription service. Eligible subscribers now receive additional computing units, granting access to high-performance cloud-based GPU and TPU resources for their development tasks.

The Google AI Ultra plan now includes access to premium GPUs and uninterrupted background execution. This allows users to run long-term AI model training tasks without needing to keep their browser tabs open, alongside existing benefits like 20TB of cloud storage and increased Gemini usage limits.

Existing standalone Colab Pro and Pro+ subscriptions remain unchanged by this update. Users who maintain both a Google AI plan and a separate Colab subscription can aggregate their computing units across both services.

The company plans to roll out these new Colab benefits to Google AI subscribers in supported markets over the coming weeks.
