Gmonit has integrated the Model Context Protocol (MCP) into its observability platform. This open standard allows AI assistants to connect directly to corporate IT infrastructure and application monitoring systems, enabling users to query data through natural language instead of manual dashboard navigation.
The platform supports various AI solutions, including Claude, Codex, GigaChat, and YandexGPT, as well as local models compatible with MCP. This integration provides a standardized and secure method for AI agents to access telemetry data, such as metrics, logs, and traces, without requiring custom development.
Engineering teams and IT executives can now use AI to identify incidents, analyze system stability, detect performance bottlenecks, and monitor operational risks. According to CEO Igor Pustovetov, this move is part of the company's AI Observability strategy to shift from manual data searching to conversational data analysis.
