KB Panorama has released version 15.4.5 of its GIS Panorama software, designed for Astra Linux Special Edition, Alt Linux, Red OS, Ubuntu, and AlterOS. The update introduces automated vector map processing through scripts using Python and dynamic libraries.
New features include map transformation tools based on control points, supporting four linear and three non-linear methods. Additionally, the software now calculates projection parameters for local coordinate systems, with results exportable to XML.
The update adds support for grouped semantics, allowing users to create multi-level attribute structures for spatial objects. This feature enables the organization of complex data, such as addresses or cadastral information, into hierarchical trees.
Enhancements to the map editor and quality control tools include improved topology checks for multipolygons and automatic geometry correction. Furthermore, the import functionality has been expanded to support MultiLeader primitives from DXF files and arbitrary string lengths from CSV, TXT, and XLSX formats.
