Basalt SPO and Tyumen State University have entered into a strategic partnership to train IT specialists in Russian software. The agreement involves the School of Computer Sciences at the university and focuses on aligning educational programs with current labor market demands.

The collaboration includes training and certification for students and faculty, as well as consulting support for teachers. Participants will work with GNU/Linux operating systems, specifically the Alt OS family, to solve practical tasks and conduct joint research activities.

Basalt SPO has previously established 15 research laboratories in various institutions, including Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Lomonosov Moscow State University. These labs support studies in network administration, cybersecurity, and software development.

The company's Alt Academy project has developed over 20 authorized training programs. To date, more than 11,000 specialists have completed these courses, and over 150 instructors have been certified to teach the curriculum in schools and universities.
