Gigabyte has unveiled the AI TOP 100 B850 desktop workstation, designed for local AI tasks. The system is built on an AMD B850 motherboard and features an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor, which is cooled by a 240mm AIO liquid cooling solution.
The hardware configuration includes 128GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of SSD storage. The motherboard provides two PCIe Gen5 slots, allowing for the installation of either one NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card or two AMD Radeon AI PRO R9700 cards.
The workstation is powered by a 1600W 80 PLUS Platinum power supply. The chassis cooling system consists of two 140mm front fans and one 140mm rear fan. Connectivity options include two 10GbE RJ-45 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and a front-facing USB-C 20Gbps port.
Performance metrics provided by Gigabyte indicate that the RTX 5090 configuration achieves a token generation rate of 64.9TPS for 32B models. The dual R9700 setup supports inference for 235B models and fine-tuning for 110B models.
