The Geoscan Group has launched an online educational platform tailored for professionals in unmanned aerial systems, geospatial data, and aviation. The portal offers remote access to supplementary professional education programs, webinars on drone technology, and specialized software training.
At launch, the platform features a course on photogrammetric data processing using Agisoft Metashape Professional. Students work with real-world datasets to master the entire workflow, from initial data ingestion to the creation of digital terrain models and orthophotomosaics.
The system includes built-in tools for monitoring student progress, managing practical assignments, and conducting final assessments in compliance with Russian regulations. This infrastructure supports both fully remote and blended learning formats for specialists across the country.
Geoscan plans to expand the curriculum by adding at least three new courses by the end of 2026. These upcoming modules will cover drone operations, flight safety management systems, and advanced data processing techniques to address industry demand.
