The user configured the ComfyUI environment on an AMD RX6700XT GPU, which lacks official ROCm support. To enable video generation, the author utilized the GGUF-format Wan2.2-I2V-A14B model with Q4_K_M quantization and the lightx2v_4steps LoRA accelerator to reduce generation time.

Hardware optimizations included installing a new SSD for models and the swap file, which increased the maximum frame count for 480x480 resolution from 39 to 53. Despite these adjustments, the system is limited to generating a maximum of 81 frames in a single pass.

To generate longer videos, the author implemented the Wan22FMLF node package. This method uses three keyframes to generate video segments, where the middle frame index must be a multiple of four. The process involves overlapping 8 to 12 frames to maintain consistency between segments.

The use of the lightx2v_4steps accelerator causes occasional overexposure in the middle frames, though it reduces generation time by a factor of five. Additionally, the author noted a potential loss of details when transitioning between generated video sections.
