Geely has introduced the 2027 Emgrand sedan in China, featuring updated exterior styling and a 12.8-inch Flyme Auto infotainment display. The vehicle is built on the B-segment Modular Architecture and maintains its 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine, which delivers 88 kW of power and 150 N·m of torque.
The model lineup includes three variants with official guide prices ranging from ¥68 900 to ¥82 900. A promotional discount of ¥9 000 is available until November 30, 2026, bringing the starting price to ¥59 900, or approximately $8 410. Customers can choose between a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT.
Interior updates include a wireless smartphone charging pad, repositioned cupholders, and a two-tone black-and-brown color scheme. The infotainment system supports Huawei HiCar, Carlink, and Flyme Link connectivity. Exterior design changes focus on the front and rear bumpers, with new color options including Alpine Gold, Chaka Salt Lake White, and Pamir Grey.
The Emgrand series has reached over 3.8 million sales since its 2009 debut. Geely continues to offer both traditional petrol models and electrified versions, such as the Emgrand i-HEV hybrid launched in June 2026. The petrol sedan remains a key competitor in the budget vehicle market alongside other compact models.
