UAZ has officially postponed the market launch of the updated Patriot X SUV. According to the company's press service, the vehicle is now expected to arrive by the end of 2026, shifting from the previously planned third-quarter release.

The vehicle introduces a new 2.0-liter JAC turbo-diesel engine producing 136 hp, which is now localized for production in Russia. This engine will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The existing 2.7-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 150 hp remains available.

Exterior updates include a redesigned radiator grille, new alloy wheels, and full LED headlights. The interior features a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a magnesium frame, a new central console, USB-C ports, and a rotary dial for the transfer case. Comfort options include a 9-inch multimedia display and heated front seats.

The manufacturer is also integrating the TCS NAMI active safety system into its updated lineup. This suite includes ABS, traction control, hill-start assist, emergency braking support, and an electronic differential lock.
