Gallatin AI Inc., a developer of military logistics software, has secured $50 million in a Series A funding round. The investment follows a $15 million seed round completed by the company in 2024. Participants in the latest round included 8VC and Silent Ventures.
The company, based in El Segundo, California, provides a platform called Navigator designed to manage supply chains for the U.S. military. Current clients include the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. The software is also available for use by commercial logistics partners of the U.S. Defense Department.
Navigator automates data collection by aggregating supply chain records from various systems into a standardized format. The platform uses artificial intelligence to visualize data through dashboards, maps, and spreadsheet-like viewers. It tracks assets, such as aircraft, and monitors requirements for fuel, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
The software employs AI to forecast when supplies will be depleted based on inventory levels and historical consumption patterns. It adjusts these estimates in real-time when unexpected spikes in demand occur. Additionally, the system flags areas for improvement in resupply plans and automates the creation of administrative documentation.
Gallatin AI plans to utilize the new capital to enhance the artificial intelligence capabilities of the Navigator platform. To support these development efforts, the company intends to increase its engineering headcount.
