Frore Systems has introduced the LiquidJet Diamond, a new liquid cooling coldplate designed for AI data centers. The product features an integrated diamond spreader, which is positioned directly over the GPU hotspot areas to improve thermal management.

The new solution builds upon the company's existing LiquidJet technology, which utilizes a 3D ultra short-loop multi-stage design. This architecture allows for customization based on the specific power map of individual GPUs, addressing extreme thermal loads.

According to the company, the standard LiquidJet coldplate reduces GPU die temperatures by 12 degrees Celsius, resulting in a 25 percent increase in Tokens per Watt efficiency. The addition of diamond wafers in the Diamond version provides a further 10-degree reduction in hotspot temperatures.

The implementation of the LiquidJet Diamond coldplate is reported to increase AI Tokens per Watt and revenue by 35 percent compared to traditional skived coldplates. This improvement is intended to help hyperscalers optimize the efficiency of their AI infrastructure.
