Franklin Templeton is launching two new ETFs, FBEQ and FIBT, which will be listed on Nasdaq. The funds allocate 95% of assets to US equities and 5% to Bitcoin. FBEQ tracks the VettaFi US Large-Cap 500 Bitcoin DRIP Index, while FIBT follows the VettaFi US Innovation 100 Bitcoin DRIP Index.

The funds utilize a dividend reinvestment strategy, directing stock payouts into Bitcoin rather than additional shares. They do not hold Bitcoin directly, instead gaining exposure through products like Franklin’s existing spot Bitcoin ETF, EZBC, which has accumulated $335 million in net inflows.

The 5% Bitcoin allocation is a starting point. Every quarter, the index rebalances the Bitcoin position back to 4.5%, with a hard cap set at 20%. The company filed Form 8-A with the SEC on October 22, 2026, and the effective date for the funds is projected for October 27, 2026.
