Foxconn reported a significant revenue increase in the third quarter, driven by strong demand for AI server infrastructure. The company's revenue reached approximately $95.4 billion, surpassing the $89 billion forecast by LSEG analysts. This figure represents a 47% growth compared to the same period last year.
Beyond the AI sector, the company experienced a seasonal boost in its smart consumer electronics division, largely attributed to the production of new iPhone models for Apple. In September alone, Foxconn saw revenue grow by 38%, hitting a record $37 billion.
Looking ahead, management expects the AI segment to remain a key growth driver in the fourth quarter. Combined with seasonal demand in consumer electronics, the company anticipates meeting analyst revenue projections for the final quarter, despite ongoing macroeconomic and geopolitical challenges.
The full financial report for the third quarter is scheduled for release on November 12. While Foxconn has seen substantial operational growth, its stock price has risen by 10% since the beginning of the year, trailing the 72% growth of the broader Taiwanese stock market.
