Forum Markets, listed on Nasdaq under the ticker FRMM, announced the creation of a joint venture named Forum Edge AI LLC on October 5, 2026. The company holds a 51% stake in the new entity, while its partner, Edge Node AI, retains 49%. This collaboration focuses on deploying distributed edge computing infrastructure for AI inference at existing urban sites across the United States.
The initial infrastructure project aims for a total capacity of 11 MW and the deployment of 4,376 GPUs. The venture plans to utilize three primary locations. One site is a data center in Dallas, which is scheduled to expand from 2 MW to approximately 4 MW by mid-2027. Another is a 9 MW campus in High Point, North Carolina, where 6 MW of capacity is expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2027.
Edge Node AI contributes technical expertise and its status as an approved Nvidia partner to the venture. The project targets the AI inference market, which is projected to reach $255 billion by 2030. Forum Markets expects the venture to generate consolidated revenue between $125 million and $175 million in 2027, with positive cash flow anticipated early that same year.
