The Moscow Arbitration Court has ordered former Google Russia CEO Carlo Salvatore Maria Dasaro Biondo to pay 160.3 ₽ billion in damages to the local subsidiary, OOO Google. The court determined these losses stemmed from advertising resale agreements signed in 2009 and 2018, as well as payments made to Google Ireland between 2018 and 2022.

In a separate ruling in November 2026, the court partially granted a request from bankruptcy trustee Valery Talyarovsky to hold former controlling entities and executives liable. The court confirmed grounds for liability against Google Ireland Limited, Google International LLC, Google LLC, and former CEO David Munro Sneddon, while dismissing claims against former managing directors Yulia Solovyova and Yulia Ramazanova.

The court has suspended the determination of the exact amount for subsidiary liability. Previously, on February 16, 2026, the court invalidated payments from OOO Google to Google Ireland Limited, ordering the return of over 160 ₽ billion. This total includes 101 ₽ billion in unjustified enrichment and 58.6 ₽ billion in interest for the use of funds.

OOO Google was officially declared bankrupt on October 18, 2023, following a bankruptcy petition filed in June 2022. During the proceedings, the bankruptcy trustee identified signs of intentional bankruptcy, noting that the company had paid 10 ₽ billion in dividends to its parent structure and failed to comply with court orders regarding YouTube account access.
