Fidelity is evaluating plans to expand access to its Ethereum-based tokenized money market funds, which are currently restricted to institutional and professional investors. The company is considering lowering the entry threshold and introducing daily or intraday yield distribution features for these products.
The firm currently manages two primary on-chain products. Fidelity Investments launched the Fidelity Digital Interest Token (FDIT) in September 2025, which saw approximately $202 million minted. Fidelity International introduced the Fidelity USD Digital Liquidity Fund (FILQ) on May 6, 2026, via the Sygnum Desygnate platform.
The FILQ fund, which carries a Moody’s Aaa-mf rating, requires a minimum investment of $100 000. It utilizes Chainlink oracles for pricing data and is modeled after a $7 billion traditional low-volatility fund. The product supports 24/7 stablecoin settlement while maintaining daily net asset value calculations.
The broader market for tokenized US Treasuries and liquidity products has exceeded $15 billion, with Ethereum serving as the primary host network. Other major financial institutions, including BlackRock with its BUIDL fund and JPMorgan, have also established similar on-chain liquidity and settlement offerings.
