On October 10, four Chinese government departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, released a draft notice regarding the management of automotive product innovation and testing. The document aims to strengthen safety assessments and reliability verification for new designs and technologies.

FAW Group responded to the initiative by emphasizing its commitment to safety standards. The company stated that it will continue to adhere to its internal policy of not deploying immature technologies in vehicles and not launching products that have not undergone sufficient verification.

The automaker maintains a quality control system that covers the entire lifecycle, from initial design and simulation to bench testing and mass production. FAW implements strict entry assessments for new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.

In the verification phase, FAW conducts extensive testing for reliability and durability. This includes subjecting vehicles to extreme environmental conditions, such as high temperatures, extreme cold, and high-altitude testing, to ensure product safety and quality.
