ExodusPoint Capital Management has announced a partnership with Anthropic to integrate the Claude AI agent into its internal Atlas AI platform. This move aims to enhance the firm's core operational workflows by leveraging generative AI technology.
The Atlas platform currently serves as the central hub for AI-assisted tasks at the hedge fund. According to the company, more than 80% of its employees utilize the system on a weekly basis, ensuring a high level of existing internal adoption.
The integration focuses on three primary operational areas: investment research, portfolio management, and overall efficiency. The companies have not disclosed specific details regarding which trading desks will receive priority access to the new tools.
Financial terms of the collaboration remain undisclosed, and neither party has provided a public timeline for the full rollout. ExodusPoint opted to partner with Anthropic rather than developing its own proprietary AI models from the ground up.
Anthropic, which was established by former OpenAI researchers, emphasizes the safety features of its Claude model. The company has previously secured partnerships with organizations in the life sciences sector, such as Novo Nordisk, to manage complex data requirements.
