EverWind Fuels announced a project in Nova Scotia on October 16, 2026, involving an investment exceeding CAD 10 billion. This initiative represents the largest private investment in the history of the province.

The capital allocation includes over CAD 8 billion for a data center campus at the Point Tupper site and CAD 2 billion for expanding onshore wind energy infrastructure.

The project is anchored by a 20-year lease agreement with an unnamed frontier AI developer. The first phase, a 95 MW data center, is scheduled to become operational by late 2027.

The development is expected to generate 2,000 construction jobs and 215 permanent roles. Projections indicate a contribution of CAD 2 billion to the provincial GDP during the construction phase.

Once fully operational, the project is estimated to generate CAD 137 million annually, with corporate income tax contributions expected to reach CAD 1.5 billion over the initial 20-year period.
