EuroCTP B.V. has officially launched a consolidated tape for European equity and ETF markets. Authorized by the European Securities and Markets Authority on July 27, 2026, the service aggregates data from approximately 130 trading venues and approved publication arrangements across the European Union.
The platform provides a standardized data feed, including the European Best Bid and Offer benchmark. This tool identifies the most favorable prices for buying and selling equities across the EU market in real time. Distribution of the data is managed through the dxFeed platform.
EuroCTP, a joint venture based in the Netherlands, secured a five-year operating term following a competitive selection process that concluded in December 2025. The system began operations on September 14, with a transition period scheduled to run through September 30.
The pricing model distinguishes between user types to encourage retail participation. Non-professional users and regulated entities receive free access to the data, while professional participants, such as institutional traders and data vendors, are subject to a tiered fee structure.
