US spot Ether ETFs recorded net outflows of approximately $320 million for the week ending October 16, 2026. This figure exceeded the $228 million in outflows seen by spot Bitcoin ETFs during the same period.

Specific daily data shows that Ether funds saw outflows of $129.5 million on October 14 and $69.7 million on October 16. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust, identified by the ticker ETHA, consistently accounted for 80% or more of these redemptions.

While Bitcoin ETF withdrawals slowed by 66% compared to the previous week, Ether funds have faced consistent outflows since late September, including a nine-day streak in early October. Losses for Ether funds in October are estimated to reach or exceed $900 million.

Spot Ether ETFs were launched in the US in July 2024 and have since accumulated over $12.9 billion in net inflows. The total assets under management for the category currently range between $14.5 billion and $15.3 billion.
