IT company Ensign, led by managing partner Alexey Postrigaylo, has been participating in government and commercial tenders for over 15 years. The company recently shared two cases where their experience and technical capabilities failed to secure a win in competitive bidding processes.

In one instance, the company submitted a functional frontend application based on WebGL for evaluation. Despite the ability to launch and verify the software, the project received zero points in the technical assessment section of the tender.

In another competition, Ensign attempted to leverage its track record of 27 completed contracts, totaling approximately 168 ₽ million. The tender criteria assigned 70% of the weight to qualification, specifically requiring experience with government electronic service systems.

Despite the significant volume of past work, the company again received zero points for its qualification submission. These cases highlight the discrepancy between a firm's actual technical expertise and its ability to formally document that experience within specific tender requirements.
