The Enough Phone, a new compact smartphone project, has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Within one day, the initiative reached over half of its $250,000 funding target.

The device features a 5.3-inch display, a 3,500mAh user-replaceable battery, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset. It includes 8GB of RAM and a 50-megapixel Sony rear camera sensor.

Users can choose between stock Android or OdysseyOS, a minimalist operating system developed by the startup Sleke. The founders, Brennan Jordan and Austin Boer, previously sold refurbished phones.

The project is currently in the production tooling phase. The team plans to begin shipping units to customers in May 2027, though they noted potential risks from global RAM shortages.

The retail price for the device is set at $599. The founders intend to remain self-funded to maintain control over their five-year software support commitment and hardware priorities.
