Bulgarian satellite manufacturer EnduroSat has secured $205 million in a funding round co-led by Riot Ventures and Atreides Management, with participation from the European Innovation Council. This investment follows a previous round of $104 million in October 2025. The company intends to use the capital to build a high-volume manufacturing facility in the United States and expand its operations in Europe.
The expansion plans include converting the former Dobroslavtsi military airbase near Sofia into a hub for space and defense manufacturing. Additionally, EnduroSat has secured two major constellation orders in September. The company will build 40 satellites for TrustPoint and provide satellite buses and integration services for a 24-satellite constellation for Vantor.
This funding round contributed to a total of €1.03 billion raised by five European NewSpace companies since September 1, including PLD Space, HyImpulse, The Exploration Company, and Open Cosmos. According to the European Space Policy Institute, European space ventures raised more capital in the first half of 2026 than in the entire year of 2025, a trend that appears to be accelerating.
