Kontrakt Holding, a subsidiary of the microelectronics group Element, has begun supplying Chinese equipment for chip manufacturing to the Russian market. The company has already delivered over 100 units of various technological systems to domestic customers.
The product portfolio includes equipment for ion implantation, magnetron sputtering, deposition, and semiconductor testing. Additionally, the company supplies chemical materials and electronic components. A dedicated subsidiary was established in China to manage logistics and quality control.
Over the past six months, Kontrakt Holding has registered compliance declarations for products from international and Chinese manufacturers, including Zhejiang Sichen Semiconductor Equipment, Coherent Laser Systems, Axcelis Technologies, and Haituo Innovation Technology.
Kontrakt Holding was registered in Moscow in 2022 and specializes in wholesale trade of industrial machinery. While the Element group is also developing domestic equipment production through its Nanotronika unit, it continues to expand its direct import operations for foreign hardware.
In 2025, Element structures spent 364 ₽ million on purchases from a Chinese intermediary, a sixfold increase compared to the previous year. Element itself was formed in 2019 through the consolidation of assets from AFK Sistema and Rostec.
