The Doubao mobile assistant, developed by Beijing Chuntian Zhiyun Technology, has successfully passed the security assessment conducted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). The product received an L5 rating, the highest level in the certification, following an evaluation based on the technical specifications for edge-cloud collaborative confidential computing.

The assessment covered 15 sub-categories, including trusted execution environments, remote attestation, key management, and data transmission security. The evaluation focused on the product's ability to protect user privacy through hardware-based trust roots, memory encryption, and strict access control across the entire data processing chain.

The consumer version of the Doubao mobile assistant was officially released today. It features multiple activation methods, including voice commands and a dedicated AI button with integrated fingerprint authentication. The assistant is optimized for various environments, including noisy or far-field conditions.

The Nubia NaviX Ultra will be the first smartphone to feature the Doubao mobile assistant. Pre-orders for the device are currently open, and the official market launch is scheduled for September 16.
