DeFi Development Corp., a company listed on Nasdaq, has acquired an additional 22,070 SOL tokens. The transaction was valued at approximately $2.43 million, further increasing the firm's primary treasury asset.
As of early October 2026, the company's total treasury holdings reached approximately 2.564 million SOL and equivalents, with a total valuation of about $302 million. Since late August 2026, the firm has increased its position by over 226,000 SOL through direct purchases and staking rewards.
The company operates its own Solana validators to retain staking rewards. To fund ongoing acquisitions without diluting common stock, the firm launched the CHAD program, a variable rate Series C Perpetual Preferred Stock offering with a capacity of up to $300 million.
The business pivoted in April 2025 to focus on accumulating SOL. Trading under the ticker DFDV, the company provides public market investors with exposure to Solana assets through equity, serving those who prefer brokerage accounts over direct token custody.
