DeFi Development Corp, a Nasdaq-listed firm trading under the ticker DFDV, has increased its Solana holdings by 5,336 tokens. This acquisition, announced on November 2, 2026, brings the company's total treasury to approximately 2,600,948 SOL.
The firm has significantly slowed its accumulation pace. While weekly purchases in September 2026 exceeded 100,000 SOL, recent additions have dropped to low tens of thousands, with the latest purchase falling even below that range.
The company, formerly known as Janover, shifted to a Solana-focused strategy in 2025. Since May 2025, its holdings have grown from roughly 400,000 SOL to over 2.6 million tokens by November 2026.
To fund its operations, the company utilizes Variable Rate Series C Perpetual Preferred Stock, traded under the ticker CHAD. Effective November 2, 2026, the annual dividend rate for these shares increased from 13% to 14%.
The firm manages its treasury by running Solana validators and staking tokens to generate yield. It tracks performance using a SOL per share metric, aiming to increase the underlying exposure for shareholders over time.
