Deepal, an NEV brand under Changan Automobile, will launch the 2027 L06 sedan on October 9. The new model features an AI Agent and an AI Box developed in partnership with Intel, utilizing the Core Ultra platform for on-device computing. The vehicle is equipped with magnetorheological suspension, a technology previously associated with supercars.
The launch also includes the L06 Zhuifeng edition, which features a carbon-fiber rear wing capable of generating 1,000 N of downforce. This version was developed following customer feedback regarding aftermarket modifications. The brand positions the 2027 L06 as a long-range AI sports sedan, targeting the market segment around ¥150 000.
In addition to the domestic launch, Deepal plans to showcase its S07 and S05 SUVs at the Paris Motor Show. The exhibition will take place from October 12 to 18 in Hall 7.1. This move is part of the company's strategy to expand its presence in international markets under the slogan Smart Your Future.
The current L06 model, launched in November 2025, starts at ¥125 900. It is powered by a 200 kW rear motor and LFP batteries from CATL, providing a CLTC range of up to 670 kilometers. The existing sedan utilizes Horizon Robotics J6M chips and the Deepal AD Max driver assistance system.
