Dan Ives, a partner at Yorkville Ives, has identified five key technology stocks for 2027: Nvidia, Microsoft, Palantir, Apple, and CrowdStrike. He suggests that investors are currently underestimating an upcoming $4 trillion wave of AI-related spending. Ives describes the current market phase as the third inning of a nine-inning game.
Nvidia holds a target price of $300, representing a 26% upside from its recent close of $237.47, with year-to-date gains of 27.33%. Microsoft has a target of $615, roughly 16% above its $529.76 close, having risen 9.54% this year. Palantir is targeted at $250, a 29% increase from its $194.12 close, following a 9.21% gain in 2026.
CrowdStrike, which has surged 126.50% in 2026, carries a target of $335, about 26% above its $265.44 close. Ives anticipates security spending will grow from 5% to 10% of IT budgets over the next three years, driven by agentic AI. He also set targets for Boost Run at $24 and Serve Robotics at $8, representing potential upsides of 75% and 72% respectively.
