Berlin-based startup Cygrid has secured €2.66 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Atlantic. Additional investors include D11Z, the venture arm of the Schwarz Group, and angel investors such as Boris Gorin, Andreas Bermig, and Vlad Tropko.

Founded in January 2026 by Dmitry Kharchenko and Dekel Paz, the company focuses on securing enterprise systems against unauthorized access by AI agents. The platform continuously monitors actions taken by AI, human, and non-human identities, blocking risky commands in real time.

The startup currently serves 19 design partners across the FinTech, e-commerce, and SaaS sectors, with six implementations already in production. One early client used the platform to identify and remediate over 100 security risks related to unknown AI agents and third-party apps.

Cygrid plans to utilize the new capital to expand its enforcement capabilities, grow its team, and scale operations across Europe. The company aims to establish itself as a primary European alternative to existing US and Israeli providers in the AI identity security market.
