Custodea, a European platform for AI-driven data management, has raised €350,000 in a seed funding round. The investment came from members of the company's own network and will be used to support the official launch of the platform and its expansion across European markets.

The platform addresses data fragmentation by centralizing information from various business systems, such as Exact Online, HubSpot, and Personio. It creates a private data environment where information is continuously synchronized, eliminating the need for manual exports or complex data migrations.

Users can connect their centralized data to external tools like Excel, Power BI, Looker, Tableau, and dbt. Additionally, the service provides an AI assistant designed to analyze business metrics, including revenue trends and outstanding invoices, and serves as a foundation for deploying custom AI agents.

Security and data sovereignty are central to the company's strategy. All infrastructure is located within the European Union, and the platform features read-only connections by default. Customers retain full control over access permissions and can revoke them at any time, providing an alternative to US-based cloud providers.
