Institutional clients have processed over $2 billion in cumulative notional volume through the CROSSx electronic communication network. All these trades were cleared via the BitGo Go Network, a partnership that has been active since April 2025.
The CROSSx platform functions as an execution-only ECN with single-digit microsecond latency. It matches buyers and sellers without holding client assets, while BitGo acts as a central counterparty for net settlement, keeping assets in regulated custody.
In May 2026, Crossover Markets introduced CROSSx Disclosed, a platform for relationship-based trading that connects users with over 30 market makers. This service also utilizes net settlement through BitGo Prime.
In March 2026, Crossover secured $31 million in a Series B funding round led by Tradeweb, with participation from Ripple and Virtu Financial. This investment round valued the company at $200 million.
