Creality has opened pre-orders for the K3 3D printer, which features four independent material feed channels and four nozzles. This configuration allows for multi-material and multi-color printing, including CMYK full-color output achieved through material light transmission.

According to the manufacturer, the four-nozzle design reduces printing time by up to 80% and material waste by approximately 85% compared to single-nozzle models. The system supports automated nozzle switching in five seconds and handles nozzle diameters of 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mm.

The printer is built on an aluminum frame with pin-type mechanical joints and XYZ-axis positioning. It has undergone over 600,000 high-speed nozzle switching cycles, maintaining positioning repeatability within 25 microns. The device uses 37 sensors, including 12 dedicated to nozzle changes.

The K3 supports flexible TPU materials, allowing users to combine plastics with varying hardness levels. The printer features an open architecture and provides root access, enabling users to modify both hardware and software components.
